ToucanFinds participates in the Amazon Associates Program. When you click a product link on our site and make a purchase on Amazon, we earn a small commission from Amazon. The commission is typically 1 to 4 percent depending on the product category.

This is the only way ToucanFinds earns money. We have no other revenue sources.

Does This Affect the Price You Pay?

No. The price you pay on Amazon is identical whether you arrive through ToucanFinds or by going to Amazon directly. Amazon pays the commission out of their margin — it does not get added to your purchase price. You pay exactly what you would pay anywhere else.

Does This Affect What Products We Show?

No. Products appear in ToucanFinds results because they passed our six quality filters and ranked well by our quality score. We do not accept payments from brands or sellers to appear higher in results. We do not promote products because they earn a higher commission rate.

Our commission rate is roughly the same across product categories, so there is no financial incentive to push one category over another. And within a search, every result you see earned its position through ratings and reviews — not through any arrangement with us.

Why This Model Works for You

Because we only earn when you make a purchase through our links, we are financially motivated to show you products you will actually want to buy. A search result that leads you to buy something disappointing is bad for you and bad for us — you return it and we earn nothing.

The affiliate model aligns our interests with yours in a way that ad-based models do not. We want to show you the best products so you buy confidently, keep what you buy, and come back next time you need something.

What We Will Never Do

• ✗ Lower our quality filters to show more products and earn more commissions
• ✗ Show sponsored listings or paid placements of any kind
• ✗ Rank products based on commission rate rather than quality
• ✗ Sell your data or show you ads based on your search history
